Happy Sunday, loves!
I didn’t bake these cookies today – I made them yesterday. And there’s not a single one left today uh, those cookies are the best! Thanks to Martha for this recipe!
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened Dutch-process cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 8 ounces good-quality milk chocolate, 4 ounces coarsely chopped, 4 ounces cut into 1/4-inch chunks
- 1 stick (8 tablespoons) unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 325 degrees (ca. 160 °C)
First, mix together the flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa in a bowl. Set aside. Then, you want to melt the chocolate and the butter in a pan – stir while heating. Put the chocolate-butter-mix in another bowl, add the sugar, eggs and vanilla and mix the ingredients together (using an electric mixer). After that, add the flour-cocoa mix.
I also added a few chocolate chips to the top of my cookies. Yummy!
Use a spoon to form small piles about the same size each.
Well, bake for about 10 – 15 minutes, let them cool and eat the cookies. All of them! 🙂
Happy baking, friends!
